Reliance Brands Limited opens new Ak-Ok office in Kolkata
Reliance Industries Limited’s fashion retail arm Reliance Brands Limited has opened new offices for premium apparel brand Ak-Ok in Kolkata. The modern style facilities are designed to elevate the brand’s operations and facilitate future expansion.
“Where swanky interiors meet refined spaces, step into elegance and innovation at our newest Ak-Ok Kolkata office that has recently opened,” announced Reliance Brands Limited on Facebook. “We believe in creating an atmosphere best suited for success. And in this pursuit, who wouldn’t mind a workspace like this one!”
Mixing natural greenery with sharp lines and edges, the office’s aesthetic mirrors Ak-Ok’s youthful fusion wear garments. Framed art decorates the space’s walls and books on Chanel and William Morris offer diverse inspiration.

Eponymous designer Anamika Khanna launched Ak-Ok as a subsidiary to play around with more experimental designs and connect with a younger audience. The brand is led by her sons Viraj and Vishesh Khanna and has retail touch-points in Kolkata, Delhi, and Mumbai in addition to its direct to customer e-commerce store.
In autumn 2022, Ak-Ok opened Lakmé Fashion Week in partnership with the Fashion Design Council of India with a vibrant runway show. The brand also took the occasion to launch its menswear offering.
