Rustic Mornings is now in a new location

While breakfast food is normally served best in the morning, there’s no denying that we Filipinos can eat breakfast food at any time of the day. Case in point: Who could resist garlic fried rice for lunch, merienda, or even dinner?

Rustic Mornings, one of the best comfort food restaurants in the east of Metro Manila, has moved to a bigger and better location to serve its patrons better. It’s still in Marikina, but it’s now right across the street from its original site.

Now in its 11th year, Rustic Mornings, helmed by Portia Baluyut-Magsino, continues to spread culinary joy from its new location with an extensive new menu. Here are five dishes to start (or end) your day with comfort food and a relaxing ambiance.

If you want to start your day with a hearty meal, the Brunch Platter (P1220) is a great option. Alongside waffle churros and pancakes are the fluffiest scrambled eggs, crisp bacon, and a pile of golden hash browns.

The Filipino Platter (P1150) is complete gustatory happiness, thanks to the generous portions of tapa, tocino, bangus, fried rice, and eggs — a harmonious blend of savory, sweet, and umami notes nostalgic of a home-cooked breakfast meal.

The Spinach and Artichoke Dip Pizza (P580) is good for two, but if you come with a hungry appetite, you can easily wolf down the entire meal. The creamy richness is perfectly balanced with the subtle tanginess of artichokes, making it an indulgence that’s hard to resist.

The Burrata Pizza (P650) is simply a masterpiece: Crisp, oven-baked crust topped with the creamiest burrata cheese, succulent tomatoes, and fragrant basil leaves elevate traditional flavors to new heights.

For those who want to keep their meal simple and traditional, the Pancake, Eggs, Bacon, and Sausage (P450) is for you. Picture this: A golden, creamy pancake topped with a dollop of whipped butter, the fluffiest scrambled eggs, crisp bacon, and sausages. It’s the best comforting meal at any time of day!

Rustic Mornings is located at 11 I. Mendoza Street, San Roque, Marikina City.
