Chanel launches beauty and fragrance store in Mumbai

Luxury brand Chanel has opened its first store dedicated to cosmetics and fragrance in the city of Mumbai. Located inside the metro’s Phoenix Palladium mall, the store is Chanel’s third beauty and fragrance boutique in India as a whole.

“Chanel Fragrance and Beauty now at Phoenix Palladium,” announced The Phoenix Mills Limited’s senior general manager of leasing Shailja Ruia on Linkedin, sharing photos of the new boutique. “First in Mumbai with much more than ever before.” The new store can be found through Chanel’s official website’s store-finder tool.

The store’s interior in Chanel’s classic black and white colour palette houses its signature No 5 fragrance along with its other perfumes and cosmetics. The store opened its doors to the public with a festive ‘Winter Wonderland’ display to highlight its latest products.

Chanel’s other two beauty and fragrance stores are located in New Delhi, one in DLF Promenade Mall in Vasant Kunj and one in Select CityWalk Mall in Saket. The brand also retails its eyewear through multi-brand outlets such as Sunglass Hut in the country.

Coco Chanel established Chanel in Paris, France in 1910. Known for its suits, quilted handbags, and monochrome aesthetic, Chanel is today owned by Alain Wertheimer and Gerard Wertheimer.
